Diane and Phyllis share a few things in common. One of them is that their willing involvement with Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) damaged their lives.
However, Diane has an edge over Phyllis. She did not know that Jeremy was a shady character when first becoming involved with him in Los Angeles, California while living as Taylor Jensen.
Walters’ character did not know she was being used as a dope mule. She was right to turn him in to the authorities after realizing the truth. In contrast, Phyllis knew Jeremy was bad news and wanted to mine his tie to Diane in hopes of forcing her out of Genoa City, Wisconsin.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Loved Ones Put Through The Wringer
Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) witnessed what they thought was their mother’s collapse in the Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) Jazz Lounge. That public event was traumatic.
A short time later, Summer and Daniel were in the same location when a wake was held in Phyllis’ honor. She attended the event, disguised as a member of the GC Athletic Club’s waitstaff.
Phyllis putting her children and other loved ones through such torture is forgivable but not forgettable. Something she is pondering, while on the run, is how to begin repairing her relationships.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Needs To End This Game
Viewers understand the stops and starts within this storyline. Other tales needed screen time. So, the misadventures of Phyllis were sporadically shelved.
But now that her secret is out and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will renew his focus on catching her, Phyllis needs to end this long game.
Most importantly, she escaped Jeremy’s near-fatal clutch. It is time for Phyllis to face the cued daytime music and turn herself in. Legal ramifications will be even harsher if she is caught on Y&R.
