General Hospital spoilers and updates for Monday, June 19 tease scandalous slip-ups, parental progress and corporate confusion. Zeke Robinson (Gavin Houston) slips up, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) makes parental progress, and Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) has corporate confusion.
General Hospital Spoilers: Austin Gatlin-Holt Has An Idea
Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) has an idea as he’s talking to Ava Jerome (Maura West) about getting intel on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). He tells her maybe it might be time for a new nanny-one who could double as a spy. Or maybe Ava herself could take over nanny duties for Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) and of course, her own daughter with Sonny, Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola).
It would give her more opportunity if she took care of them when they’re visiting at his penthouse to snoop. She’d better be careful to not let Avery see her though, because she doesn’t miss a trick!
GH Spoilers: Slip-Ups
At the Metro Court Pool, Zeke slipped up to Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) earlier when he said he didn’t like Curtis’ behavior after he and Portia’s wedding. He’s talking about more than him dropping Portia like a hot potato finding out she’d lied about him potentially being Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) birth father. Zeke has some hot tea about Curtis that he shouldn’t be spilling, namely about Curtis and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) playing kissy face at The Savoy. Portia is impatient as she asks her brother how could he possibly know how Curtis is behaving?
General Hospital Spoilers: Parental Progress
Meanwhile, at another table near the pool, Curtis and Trina are making some progress. Curtis tells Trina even boring progress is still progress, as she laughs. They will continue to connect as father and daughter since the paternity test came back in his favor. That gift of a homemade photo frame Trina made when she was little meant a lot to Curtis, catching up on lost time.
Plus, Trina has Curtis on her side when it comes to her relationship with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez). He saw firsthand how devoted Spencer was to Trina when they were in Greenland.
GH Spoilers: Brook Lynn Quartermaine Takes Decisive Action
Back in the ICU where Ned has awakened from twilight sleep, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) sees she needs to take decisive action. Ned’s awake, he knows where he is and what year it is, but he doesn’t remember the Ned part of himself or his life, only himself as Eddie Maine. She tells someone they need to step up, presumably talking about running ELQ; it’s also very concerning he doesn’t seem to recognize even her. He doesn’t seem to recognize Tracy or Olivia Quartermaine (Jane Elliot, Lisa LoCicero) either, but at least he hasn’t called his daughter by her mother’s name.
General Hospital Spoilers: Corporate Confusion
There is obvious corporate confusion if Brook Lynn or Tracy, or Olivia are trying to help Ned remember who he is as Ned and the family company ELQ. He tells them he doesn’t know what the hell they are talking about! He doesn’t seem to be in the past as far as thinking any of them are someone else, but he’s obviously confused.
Ned has not performed as Eddie Maine, other than a few times at Nurses’ Balls and the like for many years-not regularly since before Brook Lynn was born. But it seems like trying to jog his memory about his persona as Ned, ELQ and possibly who the three of them are isn’t working.
GH Spoilers: Laura Collins Questions Medical Advice
Austin also sees Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and cautions her, possibly about going to Chechnya to find Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss). He didn’t seem too worried about it earlier, until Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) resurfaced and said he’d returned from being out of town. Laura balks and asks if “this is your medical advice”, noticeably irritated. Perhaps she’s gone to him for a check up before leaving the country and he’s told her he doesn’t advise it.
General Hospital Spoilers: True Confession Or Evasive Action?
Near the snack machines at GH, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) tells Sonny that once you know, there’s no going back. He had questioned why she wasn’t wearing her engagement ring when she showed up, after Ava had advised her to tell him the truth about her whistleblowing. Nina has been afraid because of Sonny’s devotion to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) he’d be gone if he knew she reported Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to the SEC.
So is this true confessions time for Nina, or is she taking more evasive action? As long as Ned thinks he’s only Eddie Maine, chances are he won’t tell!
