The actor put it this way, “With that, I think he is missing these cues that he normally would have picked up on. He has had women hit on him, but Hope would never do anything like that, so when she’s giving flirtatious glances and having these moments with him, he’s like, ‘Why is she acting so weird?’ Thomas had shut himself off from that aspect, and he is not picking up on those things.”
