General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, May 12 tease truths and consequences, waiting and worry, and crucial decisions. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) weighs truths against consequences, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) waits and worries, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) presses for crucial decisions.
General Hospital Spoilers: Truths And Consequences
Nina talks to her friend Ava Jerome (Maura West) as she weighs her options for truths and consequences-she’s now seeing the consequences of her actions. She could be talking about telling Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) the truth about her calling the SEC on Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). Or, she could also be talking about telling Willow the truth about something else.
Willow had made Nina promise to leave Carly alone, but she had approached Carly to apologize and ask for her help with her relationship with Willow. Maybe she’s concerned that would be taken wrong if Carly tells Willow about it; she thinks the only thing she can do is come clean to Willow.
GH Spoilers: Willow Corinthos Has Some Words
Willow, in isolation in the ICU at the hospital, has some words for someone she’s talking on the phone with. She’s behind plastic sheets for protection from germs as she takes strong chemo and is being prepared for her bone marrow transplant. She’s not really upset, so it’s doubtful Nina is confessing about her call to the SEC. Willow just tells whoever’s on the other end of the line not to let something happen again!
General Hospital Spoilers: Difficult Warnings
Elsewhere, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) is likely talking to Carly although Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) looks on in shock. Diane is most certainly talking about the SEC case as she delivers a difficult warning to hear. She says that it’s going to get worse before it gets better, because the SEC has their teeth in this case like a dog with a bone!
Drew looks upset as he listens to Diane, and he’s just coming down from angry words and blows with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) who claims innocence. Diane is likely not able to find out who actually made the report to the SEC, since it was made anonymously-but there are others trying to find out as well.
GH Spoilers: Scott Baldwin’s Relief
At the hospital, it’s not a good time for Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) to ask Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) questions. She’s in some type of a robe, possibly on the way to the bone marrow transplant procedure when he interrupts her. He’s relieved to see she’s back and wonders if she feels the same way, probably referring to her being mad at him prior to her kidnapping. She gives him a dirty look but that might be because of his terrible timing-she’s on her way to save her grandniece’s life!
General Hospital Spoilers: Waiting And Worry
Elsewhere at GH, Josslyn waits and worries as she asks her mom how long they think this is going to take. It’s a safe bet she’s talking about Willow’s medical team as they prepare Willow and Liesl for the transplant procedure. A bone marrow transplant can take a few hours, and it might be twenty four hours or more to be able to see if it’s successful.
All they can do is wait, pray, and send good thoughts and stay positive. But at least Liesl is home safely and Willow survived till she got there.
GH Spoilers: Dex Heller Has Questions
Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) appears to be on the roof of General Hospital as he impatiently tells someone there are no options, and the answer he gets throws him. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will make a decision and that appears to possibly be who he’s talking to, about the Pikeman project and turning the evidence on Sonny in. But Willow begged Michael not to turn Sonny in because of what it would do to his young daughters-and him. Perhaps he’s calling off the whole thing, which puts Dex in a bind because Pikeman may be demanding answers!
General Hospital Spoilers: Crucial Decisions
Sonny is in his office at Pozzulo’s, and it’s time to make crucial decisions. It sounds like there are several there with him as he says no one’s leaving this room until we do “that”. “That” could be finalizing the next move with the Pikeman group or it could be something else entirely.
Whatever it is Sonny wants to get the thing squared away, and squared away now. He’s not closing the meeting until he gets what he wants!
