General Hospital Spoilers UPDATE Wednesday, May 10: Staking Claim, Pleas For Support, Emancipation Proclamation

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Wednesday, May 10 tease staking claim, pleas for support and an emancipation proclamation. Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) again stakes his claim on his brother, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) pleads for support and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) has an emancipation proclamation.

General Hospital Spoilers: Staking Claim

On the plane bound from Greenland to Port Charles, Spencer is adamant as he tells Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) that he will be Ace Prince-Cassadine’s (Joey and Jay Clay) guardian. The battle that started with his father, Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) before he disappeared is starting up again, only this time it will be with Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl). That could be a bit difficult considering he’ll be coming home to his grandmother Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) home which is where Esmé lives too.

Because of Laura’s own history of Nikolas being raised by the Cassadines she’s sympathetic to Esmé although she certainly won’t side with her against Spencer. But if she’s got a full house now with Esmé and Charlotte Cassadine (AnaSofia Bianchi) there, she’ll have a fuller one when they arrive home.

GH Spoilers: Truth Or Consequences

At Robert Scorpio’s (Tristan Rogers) office, he’s between a rock and a hard place as certainly as he’s between an ex and a potential! Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) had walked in on Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) and Robert in a passionate kiss, after stepping out to help Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). They had started having a little cocktail hour in the District Attorney’s office when she got a call to go to the PCPD, where Drew was being questioned by SEC agents. In the meantime, Holly had arrived and was giving Robert an update on what happened in Greenland, and then gave Robert a kiss he couldn’t refuse. Diane tells Robert she’ll settle for the truth!

General Hospital Spoilers: Laura Collins Worries

Back on the plane, Laura is sitting next to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and looks worried as he asks if she’s speaking for Spencer and Trina or herself. She’s heading home to what might be a hornet’s nest because Esmé wanting Ace back, and Spencer, Esmé and the baby all living there. Spencer, Ace and Charlotte are her grandchildren but Esmé is Kevin Collins’ (Jon Lindstrom) niece and his only living relative besides Ace.

Kevin may still be getting used to the idea of having a niece and a grandnephew, but still, they’re his blood. Spencer has no right to make the demands Laura knows he will make regarding Esmé’s rights to her son.

GH Spoilers: Maxie Jones Needs Help

At her apartment, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) needs help and reaches out to her mother, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner). She tells Felicia the future of her company is at stake, her company being Deception Cosmetics. There is one big source of possible trouble here, namely Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) gambling the company dry, which apparently Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) hasn’t found out about yet. Maxie’s already been driven crazy by Lucy when she was supposed to be playing dead and if Lucy knew, Maxie’s mental health would be at stake.

General Hospital Spoilers: Pleas For Support

Meanwhile, back at the Quartermaine mansion, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) makes pleas for support from his wife, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero). She’s already accused him of channeling his inner Edward Quartermaine (John Ingle) which is a total turn off to her! Ned continues to beg her to support him and to believe him that he didn’t turn Drew and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) into the SEC for insider trading.

So far, no one believes him, including his wife and daughter, and even Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) seems to applaud his alleged whistleblower report. Ned continues to plead innocent and plead his case with his family and his wife!

GH Spoilers: Emancipation Proclamation

Sasha has an emancipation proclamation as she talks to Carly, possibly somewhere in General Hospital. They are there as Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) are being prepared for Willow’s bone marrow transplant. Sasha excitedly smiles as Carly confirms what she’s saying – that she no longer needs a guardian. For over a year, she’s been in a financial guardianship started by her late husband Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and then taken over by Gladys.

General Hospital Spoilers: War Games

Back at the Quartermaine mansion, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) puts her hand on Drew’s shoulder for support as he gets down in Ned’s face. Drew is livid as he tells Ned if he wants a war, he’s going to get one! Drew just came back from a very dangerous rescue mission where he could have been killed as well as eighty percent of the world’s population.

As Liesl stated to Nina Reeves, (Cynthia Watros) at the hospital, Drew deserves a hero’s welcome not suspicions by government bureaucrats! And especially not suspicions by his own family.
