General Hospital spoilers and updates for Wednesday, April 26 tease someone’s caught red handed, there are problems to solve, and someone relishes evil triumphs. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) nearly catches Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) red handed, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) has problems to solve, and Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) relishes evil triumphs.
General Hospital Spoilers: Nearly Caught Red Handed
Sonny walks in on Nina right at the end of a call she’s made to Attorney Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) about calling the Securities and Exchange Commission. She had wanted Martin to expose everything he knew about Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) involvement in insider trading regarding the failed Aurora-ELQ merger. However, she cautioned him to not let her name be associated with the whistleblowing report.
She’s nearly caught red handed as Sonny walks up to her and asks her why she was trying to see her lawyer. She’ll likely make up some excuse like it being Crimson Magazine business.
GH Spoilers: I Spy With My Little Eye
Meanwhile, back at the Quartermaine gatehouse, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) is with Carly and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) getting ready for her wedding. She can hardly believe the day has arrived when she gets married to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) that night. She sees Carly and Josslyn “conspiring” and looking innocent as she tells them she knows they are up to something. Perhaps they have a surprise party as a reception afterwards, but they are hiding their concern about whether Drew will return with Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) in time.
General Hospital Spoilers: The Posse Arrives
It might look to Michael like the posse has arrived as standing at the door are Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) flanked by two detectives. However, the detectives are Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) who were coming to the wedding anyway. Still, Maxie, possibly teasing, announces to Michael that they have a major problem.
Of course, the three of them weren’t there when Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) arrived either. Perhaps she saw Tracy trying to pull up all of Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) daffodils, which Tracy described as Easter Bunny vomit!
GH Spoilers: Friendly Encouragement
From Sonny’s penthouse, Nina has gone to the Jerome art gallery where Ava Jerome (Maura West) gives her some friendly encouragement. Ava tells Nina she did the right thing, but she might be talking about the right thing about letting Sonny attend Willow’s wedding by himself. She may not be so pleased about Nina telling Martin to report Carly and Drew’s insider trading as bitter revenge. Even if she did try to keep her name out of it, she’ll be the first one accused.
General Hospital Spoilers: Worried Friends
Meanwhile, back at GH, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is still in bed recovering from a serious gunshot wound knowing Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) went to hunt Victor down. With him are Drew, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) who’ve gone to take down Victor and rescue the hostages. Liesl, Trina, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay) are all in need of rescue and on the Haunted Star.
But Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) just told Anna and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) that they’re walking into a trap and Anna repeats it back. Ethan Lovett (James Ryan) had revealed Victor’s plan to revive the Ice Princess weather machine-in addition, he’s unleashing a deadly pathogen.
GH Spoilers: Problems To Solve
In the meantime, a nearly freezing Trina, Spencer and Liesl are on the deck of the Haunted Star talking about Victor’s plots. Trina says they can’t let him get his hands on it, likely talking about the pathogen he plans to release, possibly in carbonic snow made by the weather machine. That may be easier said than done, at least until Laura, Drew and Curtis arrive, but even then they’ll likely be outnumbered by Cassadine henchmen. Still, they’ll do their best to keep Victor from getting his hands on it, but they’ll have to work quickly.
General Hospital Spoilers: Relishing Evil Triumphs
Elsewhere, Victor’s already at the door of the bunker where Mikkos Cassadine (John Colicos) stored the deadly pathogens which was his “plan b” were the carbonic snowstorms to fail in 1981. Victor is happy and tells someone behind him, likely a henchman, that behind that door is everything he’s ever worked for. There should not only be the pathogens stored but another weather machine, the first destroyed by Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) on Cassadine Island along with Mikkos, who he threw into it.
The forces of good will have to work quickly to overcome the forces of evil already at work in Victor. Once he unleashes the pathogen, however he intends to, it’s curtains.
