It always feels so good to be back home, right? Well, that’s probably what The Young and the Restless star Mishael Morgan (Amanda Sinclair) is probably thinking to herself as she just opened up about her return to Genoa City. Here’s what she has to say!
The Young and the Restless Star Mishael Morgan Opens Up About Her Return To Genoa City
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Mishael made it no secret that she certainly did miss her second ‘home.’ When asked if she could come back for The Young and the Restless’ 50th anniversary, the actress said that she felt both flattered and honored. She said, “It was pretty much an immediate yes for me but I had my agent make sure I didn’t have anything else in the pipeline. I was adamant about going back and being there for this moment, so I made it pretty clear that unless Steven Spielberg called, I’m going to Genoa City.”
Mishael also said that she’s happy to have picked up where Amanda last left off. As many fans can recall, she saw her boyfriend Devon getting a little too up close and personal with Abby. Mishael said, “I was really excited to come back and play that out because Amanda left very abruptly. She showed up, was in shock by what she was seeing and then she just disappeared for a few months.”

And while Mishael has been working on other television shows like Chicago Med, she says that she will always come back home to Genoa City, no matter what. She said, “I’ll always be happy to come back, so I hope that it’ll work out. If I had actually stayed on CHICAGO MED, I wouldn’t have been able to do Y&R this time. So that worked out perfectly and hopefully it will again in the future.”
We always love seeing Mishael back on the canvas. With that said, The Young and the Restless fans will simply have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next!
