Nancy Lee Grahn has entered the chat! The General Hospital star, who is best known for her role as Alexis Davis, weighed in on the Eric Braeden and Eva Longoria controversy. As many fans know by now, Eric was none too pleased when Eva suggested that she was embarrassed to work on The Young and the Restless. However, her words might have been taken out of context. Here’s what you need to know.
General Hospital Star Nancy Lee Grahn SLAMS Eric Braeden: “Be Mindful Of Your Attitude”
After Eva’s CNN interview with Chris Wallace aired, Eric was very quick to take to his Twitter account to slam the Hollywood star. During her interview, Eva said that she had to work two jobs during her early days on The Young and the Restless to make ends meet. She also said that she didn’t want anyone at her temp agency knowing that she was working at Y&R. Eric took this as an insult and fired back with, “EVA LONGORIA: you just made derogatory remarks about daytime actors! You simply weren’t good enough to survive the pressures of this medium! You were very lucky to get on that ‘housewife”=’ show!”
Needless to say, Nancy was quick to add her two cents on the matter. She took to her Twitter account to write, “Eva has always been very respectful of me & what I do. I respect her as well. I think her good intentions & how she handled this particular moment were at odds. It happens. I think it’s best 4 prime time/film actors 2b very mindful of their attitude & comments re Daytime TV. It’s extremely difficult to try & do good work with the limitations of putting out 130 pgs a day with limited time & minimal budget. I’ve 32 pgs today with 1 quick rehearsal 4 cameras. Prime Time actors shoot 3-5 pgs a day with a team of writers who’ve weighed each word 4 them.”
Did Eric Braeden Go Too Far?
She then added, “The last well known Prime Time actor who worked here said after 1 day that he felt like he’d been dragged naked thru a swamp. We are all actors. We are all lucky to be working. We are all in this together trying to do the best that we can. That’s all. Love, me.”
Eva Longoria herself has not made any comments about the matter.
