Nick helped Victoria with the Ashland Locke (last played by Robert Newman) travesty. But her place atop Newman Enterprises and Moustache-like focus on all things business indicates she will not keep Nick’s confidence.

Victoria is aware that her father wants Adam back in the family business. Viewers are aware that Adam recently provided Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) with his resignation.
Adam gave Jack the option of firing him instead. If he does not do that, Adam plans to vacate his co-Chief Executive Officer spot at Jabot.
Assume Adam becomes a free agent and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Victoria’s plan to acquire McCall Unlimited happens. Victor wants Adam to run what would become a new division of Newman Enterprises. By that point in the plot, if not before, Victoria would have the ability to leverage the intel Nick provided against her detested brother, Adam, with the intent of preventing him from returning.

Sally has formed a decent relationship with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case). The mother of Nick or Adam’s next child values Sharon’s honesty and experience with the Newman brothers.
Sharon is in the unique position of serving as a form of mentor to Sally. Case’s character knows what it is like to navigate all things Newman and be the object of Victor’s downward gaze. One needs only to reference the Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) gaslighting scam, where she pretended to be her deceased twin sister Cassie (Grimes).
Regardless of whoever is the father of the child Sally is having, Nick placed himself into a vulnerable position by providing his sister with information that goes beyond his personal life and impacts business on Y&R.
