General Hospital spoilers say that fans want him back for a good reason! Now that Marcus Coloma is no longer playing Nikolas Cassadine, a lot of fans can’t help but wonder why the producers of the hit ABC soap haven’t reached out to actor Tyler Christopher to take over the role. After all, he was a soap favorite for a good reason. Here’s what you need to know.
General Hospital Fans Want Tyler Christopher Back For This Reason
Seeing how there’s so much storyline left for Nikolas’ character, there are a lot of fans and critics alike who believe that Tyler should step in and finish the work that Marcus left undone. One fan even went as far as to write on social media, “All I want for the new year is to bring back Tyler Christopher as Nikolas and the Esme story to be proved she lied about having sex with Nikolas or having a baby with him. They could recon the story and have Esme to have used some of that drug she used on Trina used on Nikolas. It could be a hallucinogenic that with a suggestion from Esme could make Nikolas think he had sex with Esme when he didn’t . They could have the baby be …and I am not in favor with this have her use the drug on Spencer and had sex with Spencer so she could get a Cassadine baby. I would rather it be the fisherman that pulled her from the water after her first fall over the parapet.”
General Hospital News: What’s Next For Nikolas?
Tyler stole hearts as Nikolas Cassadine during his years on General Hospital and managed to impress the critics as Stefan DiMera on NBC’s Days of Our Lives. But after dealing with several personal battles, the actor took a much needed break from daytime television and his career altogether. He’s been mostly absent on the small screen, prompting a lot of fans to wonder exactly what he’s doing and if he would consider making a comeback to the soap world.
Now, as far as whether or not he would make a return to daytime television remains to be seen, but it’s something that he hasn’t ruled out, either. Or at least, not in public. Tyler’s fans have long said that they miss seeing him act and have even left comments on his social media page that say, “You’ve always been my favorite Nikolas. Come back to GH. Your fans miss you!” along with, “It’s great seeing you healthy and happy again. The best is yet to come.”
