According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, Sarah runs into Justin and Bonnie and asks Justin to represent her in her divorce, a turn of events Xander is finding hard to face. Speaking to the publication in a new interview, Paul Telfer, who plays Xander on the hit Peacock soap, puts it this way, “This is end of the world stuff for Xander. Think about everything he feels and went through to save Sarah and get her back. She was kidnapped, drugged, reverted to being a child and became somebody else, Renee DuMonde. They came through all of that. The moment they are actually together and happy, Xander messes it up. It’s 100 percent his fault. His only excuse is he did it for love, like he did with the baby swap. But it’s just not a good enough excuse, is it?”
Days of Our Lives spoilers say that Bonnie suggests to Sarah that she give Xander another chance. At the same time, Gwen visits Xander at his motel room and finds out that he’s a drunken mess. Paul says, “It’s his usual move. He’s not an alcoholic, but he tends to get carried away when bad news comes along. Gwen’s been exposed to that cycle before, as has Sarah.”

Paul adds that Gwen gets to be Xander’s cheerleader and coach and says, “She even insists that Xander hold on to the image of him and Sarah together in the future and strive to get it. She really is playing the supportive shoulder to cry on buddy.”
Well, that is, until Sarah makes an unexpected visit. She’s not going to like the sight that she sees when she opens his motel room door.
