Say what now? British Royal News says that Prince Harry wrote in his book, Spare, that his father King Charles used to do half-naked headstands in order to help manage his chronic pain. Now that’s a visual no one really wants to see, right? Here’s what you need to know.
British Royal News: Prince Harry Claims King Charles Did Half-Naked Headstand To Help Manage His Pain
In his memoir, Harry says that his father used to suffer from constant neck and back pain and that sometimes he would dread opening the door at Balmoral Castle because he was afraid of what he would see on the other side.
Harry wrote, “Open the wrong door and you might burst in on Pa while his valet was helping him dress. Worse, you might blunder in as he was doing his headstands. Prescribed by his physio, these exercises were the only effective remedy for the constant pain in Pa’s neck and back.”
Harry also said that Charles used to do the headstands daily in his boxers while “propped against a door or hanging from a bar like a skilled acrobat.”
“If you set one little finger on the knob, you would hear him begging from the other side, ‘No! No! Don’t open! Please, God, don’t open!’”

What’s more, Harry says that back in the early 2010s, he sat down and talked to his father about everything that he was dealing with, including his panic and anxiety attacks. He writes that his father Charles simply “lowered his head and said, ‘I suppose it’s my fault. I should have gotten you the help you needed years ago.’”
Harry went on to tell his father that it wasn’t his fault. “But I appreciated the apology,” he added.
With that said, new reports say that Prince Harry has been written out of his father’s Coronation, which is set to take place on May 6th. According to new reports, Harry will be treated as though he’s not a member of the royal family, should he decide to return to the UK for King Charles’ Coronation.
