Harry, Harry, Harry. It sure has been the year of the Duke of Sussex, right? And while there’s no doubt that Prince Harry had one wild ride for 2022, things are about to get even crazier for him in 2023. Here’s why.
British Royal News: Prince Harry’s Crazy And Wild Ride In 2022
During the Netflix docuseries Harry and Meghan, the royal made it no secret that he’s no fan of the press and how the royal family is in cahoots with the press, too. Prince Harry said, “There’s leaking, but there’s also planting, of sorts. So if the comms team want to be able to remove a negative story about their principle, they will trade and give you something about someone else’s principle. So the offices end up working against each other.”
What’s more, according to The Sunday Times, a friend of Harry’s says that he wants to help revolutionize the monarchy from the outside in, if that’s even possible. One source close to the situation says, “People ask ‘why air your dirty laundry?’ Everything Harry does and says is rooted in wanting to try and change things for the better, even if not everyone agrees with that. If the outcome of all of this is an institution and a family that operates in a more modern way, then so much the better . . . if there is a chance to improve things for the next generation, that’s a positive.”
British Royal News: What’s Next For Harry?
Also, there are some people behind the scenes at the palace who are none too pleased with the fact that Harry has chosen to call his book “Spare.” Omid also says that a lot of people are putting the blame on Meghan. He says, “Royal sources, media pundits and newspapers wasted no time sharing breathless outrage after publisher Penguin Random House revealed the tome’s title, steely-faced cover and January 10 release date.
The cover of Spare is a close up of Prince Harry staring straight into the camera. The title refers to the Duke of Sussex and his older brother Prince William, who is the next in line for King Charles III’s throne. According to reports, Penguin Random House released a statement on Thursday that said, “SPARE, the highly anticipated #PrinceHarryMemoir, will be published globally on January 10, 2023.”
