General Hospital spoilers say that at this point, it seems like fans are growing very weary over who might be ‘The Hook’ that is running around Port Charles. Or at least, they are tired of guessing. Here’s what you need to know.
General Hospital News: Fans Are Not Feeling ‘The Hook’ Anymore
According to the latest teaser trailer for General Hospital, The Hook is not done terrorizing the residents of Port Charles just yet. But for some viewers, they are over it. And they are also over trying to guess who might or might not be the man or woman behind the mask.
Of course, many fans and critics alike have weighed in on the storyline on social media. Some commented with, “If this were a UK soap, multiple people would’ve succumbed to the Hook, and there wouldn’t be a second thought about it. Diane should’ve died from her attack. And we should’ve had 1-2 more casualties. American soaps and their writers need to stop being so scared of killing off people in these type of stories. Also… the updated Disqus is amazing, too! Very user-friendly and clean-looking,” along with, “It should really be Trina with a case of schizophrenia but these GH writers would never go there. Agnes Nixon and Bill Bell would have though. It would be very soapy and potentially compelling to watch if the reveal was that mental illness had resulted in Trina turning on those who supported her in the trial. That’s something that Soaps could have gotten away with back in the day. But now with the need to present mental illness responsibly and with some accuracy, that’s very unlikely to be a risk they would take.”
General Hospital News: What’s Next In Port Charles?
Another critic wrote, “The only fun thing about the hooker was who s/he would kill to cull the bloated cast, imo. But now that we know Trina’s the target and only one contract cast member died, I just don’t care anymore.”
And then there was this comment, “If Trina can’t be revealed as the killer herself, I NEED her to have an active role in stopping the Hook Killer as the “Last Girl” in this horror movie homage. As others have stated, Trina was extremely passive as the victim everyone rallied around during her trial and did very little to secure her own vindication. She needs to get down and dirty and be the heroine of this part of the story.”
