British Royal News says that there will be two reasons to celebrate on this one particular day next year. However, some people believe it might be one party too many. Apparently, there are some online fans out there who believe that King Charles III’s coronation should not happen the same day as Archie’s fourth birthday. Here’s what you need to know.
British Royal News: Online Fans Say King Charles III’s Coronation Should Not Happen The Same Day As Archie’s Birthday
According to new reports, King Charles III’s coronation will happen on the same day as his grandchild’s birthday. Buckingham Palace has announced that that coronation will take place on May 6, 2023.
Of course, it didn’t take long for some members of the royal rota, like Angela Levin, to weigh in on the matter. She wrote on Twitter, “Several tweets from Meghan and Harry supporters complaining that the Coronation is on ‘a day that belongs to Archie.’ He will be four on May 6 so far too young to care about dates. It’s presents and cake that count. Ludicrous they put him before the King.”
Other critics said, “The fact of the matter is that Charles communicates his lack of respect for his 2nd son every chance he gets. Parents like that are abusive. They expect people to conform to them and punish anyone that doesn’t. Perhaps that’s what kings do, more reason to abolish the job entirely,” along with, “The Coronation of the King will be highly organized. It must’ve been hard to get the right date to suit everyone.
Parents who can leave their kids alone 5000 miles away for a month aren’t that bothered about them, why should our country be?”
British Royal News: What’s Next For The Royals?
Another critic wrote, “Nothing new. Eugenie’s wedding was about Meghans pregnancy. Kate’s birthday was about Megxit. The Queens Christmas speeches were about the Sussex’s. They stole the Queens pet name. Platinum Jubilee was about Lili’s bday. Now the Kings coronation is about Archie. It will never end.”
And then there was this comment, “I wonder how many other people have birthdays on the same date, or anniversaries, or other events that will have to be altered.
They need to get over it and stop whining. Archie won’t remember. I think it’s great that Arch will share his birthday with such a huge event.”
