British Royal News says that Meghan Markle’s podcast will be back on by next week. As many royal fans probably already know by now, the Duchess of Sussex pressed the pause button on her Archetypes podcast earlier this month in respect for Queen Elizabeth. The monarch passed away on September 8th at the age of 96. Here’s what you need to know.
British Royal News: Meghan Markle’s Podcast Is Back On
According to reports, Archetypes is returning on Tuesday, October 4th. The episode will feature Hollywood actress Margaret Cho in a conversation about Asian American tropes in the entertainment industry.
Many royal fans commented on the matter with, “I hope the delay was because they were re-scheduling all of the appearances she had planned but was forced to cancel. So, we will get the Variety cover story, the Jimmy Fallon appearance, and maybe a few other promo activities,” along with, “She has shown such respect to these people who didn’t even deserve it. Did not know that Mike Tindall had a podcast and he was running his mouth talking about the Queen, the funeral and giving little anecdotes that Meghan would have been crucified over.”
Meanwhile, it seems as though King Charles III is refusing to extend an olive branch to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. According to one royal expert by the name of Nick Bullen, Charles is now in charge and unlike Queen Elizabeth, there won’t be any secret meetings with Harry and Meghan about who knows what.
British Royal News: What’s Next For The Royals?
Bullen said, “The king’s message in his first speech was clear – he loves Meghan and Harry – but he was also clear that they’ve chosen a different life. They’ve chosen to grow their life overseas, in the States. He acknowledged that. His olive branch was simply, ‘I love you, you are very much a member of the royal family,’ as the queen said several years ago. But also made it clear – ‘You’ve made your decision on what you want to do, and I support you in that, but that’s your decision.’”
He added, “I don’t think he will be encouraging them to rejoin the working royals. As you know, Harry and Meghan have made it very clear that’s not a role they want. So I think the olive branch is a family olive branch. It’s not an olive branch to rejoin the working royals.”
So far the Sussexes have not commented about the matter.
