General Hospital spoilers say that even the thought of Luke being dead has certainly sent many longtime fans and viewers into a tizzy. A lot of people either don’t want to believe it or think that Luke’s supposed death is part of a much bigger storyline. Here’s what you need to know.
General Hospital Spoilers: Fans Angered Over Latest Revelation About Luke
The latest General Hospital spoilers say that Luke’s most recent wife Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliott) told Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) that Luke had died in a car crash in Austria, which had sent shockwaves through her system. But, it’s also been suggested that the death might not have been an accident and that Victor Cassadine might have had something to do with it.
Of course, it didn’t take long at all for both fans and critics alike to weigh in on the matter on social media. Many of them wrote, “The presumed dead plotline just isn’t even shocking anymore when they keep coming back from the dead. For a show is called “General Hospital” nobody knows how to check for a pulse. After today’s episode Luke is definitely not dead. I believe an undead Mikkos (only Cassadine never resurrected) has him on some island with Holly,” along with, “As much as I despise Geary and hate Luke, I will admit he’s a legacy character and iconic to the show and the soap world and even the worst writers and producers would have to promote the hell out of the death of Luke. There would be returning characters, interviews with major outlets and a huge publicity push for this story. So to just send Tracy and say, yeah he’s dead, let’s mourn for an episode or 2 and move on doesn’t seem accurate. There’s got to be more to this.”
General Hospital Spoilers: Is Luke Alive?
Another fan wrote, “This stuff with Luke has to be part of a bigger storyline. There’s no reason to randomly bring up his name on the show when he’s been gone for 6 1/2 years. And if it’s not part of a bigger storyline, and they really are killing Luke off screen, that’s awful. Whether people like Tony Geary or not, Luke Spencer is one of the most iconic characters not only in GH history, but soap history. You don’t kill off a character like that off screen, only if TG dies in real life. Something more has to be going on here.”
