The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Jason Thompson Weighs In On Billy Abbott’s Latest Crisis

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that this surely shouldn’t surprise anyone, but Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) has gotten himself into a pickle again. Billy wants to buy ChancComm on his own, but the problem is, he doesn’t have the pocket change to do it. However, he does realize that Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) might be right that the only way to get ChancComm out of its legal mess is to sell the company. Keep reading for all of the spoilers you need to know!

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Jason Thompson Weighs In On Billy Abbott’s Latest Crisis

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Jason Thompson admits that the current crisis with ChancComm is impacting Billy’s relationship with Lily Winter (Christel Khalil). That’s because she’s the one who called Jill Abbott in crisis mode, knowing that something had to be done before they would lose the company forever. But at the same time, Jason says that he understands why Lily called Jill behind his back.

Jason put it this way, “He also knows that Lily is on his side, which is a beautiful thing, so they are really learning how to support each other because there’s a lot of honesty there. We sometimes forget LIly’s story. She has been through a lot in the last handful of years with going to jail, her divorce and the things that Cane had done, so she’s been through a lot of trauma and has come out the other side.”

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: What’s Next For Billy?

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that while Billy absolutely trusts Lily, her opinion and her gut reaction, there’s still a little bit of selfishness that is making Billy want to drive through things on his own. In other words, there’s a very good chance that he might end up doing something behind Lily and Jill’s back, and that he will most definitely regret it.

With that said, Jason admitted he loves sharing screen time with Jess Walton now that Jill is back in Genoa City. He put it this way, “Selfishly, it’s always amazing when Jess comes to town. Billy loves his mother but she rarely ever brings good news. It’s usually never a good thing when Billy runs into his mom. They’ll have a head-on collision, they they’ll work it out and find some kind of balance to it all.”
