The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Katie Outsmarts Brooke and Ridge – Forrester Creations in Trouble?

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) is still complaining about her sister. Some would say that she is still whining to her nine-time husband about Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom).

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) is dutifully backing whatever his many-time wife says.

The two references to their many marriages, breakups, divorces, and remarriages are also apt because they underscore their combined rejection of reality.

Katie left a company where she was dismissed and accepted an opportunity that was backed by her husband’s full faith and a yacht full of money.

Someone would have to be a fool not to have done exactly what the head of Logan did.

As previously explored in Ridge’s actions fueling the family drama, Brooke and Ridge have played a significant role in creating this conflict.

Eric Forrester Given Some Slack

Eric Forrester (John McCook) has accomplished plenty in his life, and yes, his personal matters can be described as messy.

Not as skewed as his son Ridge’s or his ex-wife and renewed daughter-in-law Brooke’s, but hardly perfect.

However, just as Katie was treated in a condescending manner by Ridge’s daughter, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), so too was Eric disparaged and quite literally dismissed by Ridge.

So, he had a very good reason to respond as he did and work with Katie to help launch Logan.

As Eric’s decision to work with Katie demonstrated, the Forrester patriarch wasn’t willing to simply accept being pushed aside.

It’s likely provable that Logan wouldn’t have made a splash in the fashion world without leading with Eric’s work.

Assuming that, various FC employees probably wouldn’t have followed.

Brooke Logan Forrester And Ridge Forrester Are Flailing

So, Eric’s regrets are basically centered on his actions.

In contrast, Brooke and Ridge seemingly have no mirrors anywhere in their self-involved worlds.

However, Brooke and Ridge’s child, RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti), had an insightful idea that makes good business sense.

It’s not a stretch to believe that the Electra line can help FC’s revival.

But the position that the Forrester family business has currently put itself in is tenuous. A lot of capital was sunk into Eric’s forthcoming line.

The co-chief executive officer, Ridge, and one of FC’s dwindling number of top executives, Brooke, had better hope that enough financial resources are available to push the youth line as soon as possible.

Katie Logan Spencer

Katie didn’t intend to have Logan become involved in a personal feud with the company she worked for this past decade.

It was Brooke’s outrageously haughty reaction that stunned Katie and then made her mad.

As seen during Brooke and Katie’s escalating family feud, the sisters’ disagreements have become deeply personal.

While a vendetta isn’t a good business strategy, it’s served to keep FC off-balance.

The internal division has benefited Logan because of the volume of top talent that fled.

Winning in the fashion world requires creativity, innovation, and capitalizing on moments that are fleeting.

Katie has outsmarted FC. She and her growing team are also outworking that well-established fashion house.

If that continues, Logan could overtake the company Eric and Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) co-founded many decades ago.

Annemarie’s Take

I think Brooke and Ridge need to stop blaming Katie for everything and take a good look at their own mistakes. Katie saw an opportunity and took it. Why should she apologize for succeeding? If Forrester Creations continues underestimating her, they may end up regretting it!

Do you think Katie deserves her success, or has her rivalry with Brooke gone too far?
