The Young And The Restless Spoilers Monday, October 12: Detective Burrows Delivers Unexpected Matt Clark Intel

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, October 12 reveal that GCPD Detective James Burrow (Matt Cohen) is back to bother the Newmans. It has to do with bad/good guy Matt Clark (Roger Howarth).

Matt is Alive

Fans last saw Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) when she deliberately crashed the car Matt was driving with her in the passenger seat. As a result he got conked on the head and she went missing.

Matt made his way back to Genoa City and the Riverbank Motel where he enacted a pantomime for one. Poor Matt wrestled with his good and bad selves as he fought the demons of this past.

Matt Wrestles Demons

While this transpired, the police began looking into the cause of the crash. But, when Detective Burrow requests a meeting, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) think it’s about drug dealer Joe (Chris Grant Wenchell).

Detective Burrow informs them it concerns Matt, and Nick and Adam think that Patty is behind the crash.

Nick Suspects Patty

Adam tells Nick not to take matters into his own hands where Matt is concerned. Everyone was relieved when Matt left GC but with the specter of his return to bad behavior Nick could vow vengeance. And more drama is the last thing he needs.

Nick has been sketchy about what happened to Joe and Adam may decide to warn Nick against any more violence.

Sharon’s Casita

Last week Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) redecorated her homestead and spoilers indicate Matt sneaks into Sharon’s house during the week of October 12-16. Not good.

Meanwhile, Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) spent the last Friday cliffhanger episode trying to pry information from Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).

He knew something was wrong but she refused to open up to him.

A New Day in Genoa City

On Monday Cane remains frustrated over Lily’s quietude about her secret. But all he can do is wait patiently until she’s ready to share.
Fans know that she is dealing with inconclusive lab results regarding a possible return of her cancer and that only a few people know.

Scintillating The Young and the Restless spoilers imply that Cane remains concerned in the meantime and does his best to remain calm for his ex-wife.
