Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate some major moments set to unfold in Salem during the week of October 5-9! Plus, there is a flurry of casting activity to talk about, too! Find out who’s coming and who’s going over the next five “days” (and beyond), by reading below.

Two Rivals Return

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of October 5 reveal that not only will Kristen DiMera, played by Stacy Haiduk, return to the canvas after her recent hiatus, Sophia Choi, played by Rachel Boyd, is also back! The two are seen in this week’s promo video, and added teasers note that Kristen and Sophia will be seen during the Friday, October 9 episode.

It seems Sophia is very much alive, although she looks a tad different with lighter hair and a southern accent.

She’s also changed her name to “Amelia” and is working at a diner, so it’ll be interesting to see what this story is all about.

Speaking of surprises, Dante Vitali, played by Franco LoPresti will catch Sydney DiMera (Sydney Malakeh) off guard as he too, returns to Salem during the Thursday, October 8 show.

Lastly, Jada Hunter, played by Elia Cantu, and Shawn-Douglas Brady, played by Brandon Beemer, will also have some steamy scenes during the week of October 5. The two will hit the sheets on Wednesday, October 7, and Jada will interrogate EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) on the October 8 episode.

Recast Alert!

General Hospital alum Tajh Bellow, who played TJ Ashford on the ABC soap, will appear as a temporary recast this week on Days.

He’s stepping in for Tyler Joseph Andrews for one episode as Theo Carver. Bellow will share scenes with Cherie Jimenez on the Tuesday, October 6 show, as Theo agrees to help Gabi Hernandez.
