The Young And The Restless Spoilers Monday, September 28: Nick Berates Phyllis For Consorting With Cane

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, September 28 tease that exes Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) get into it years on from their latest tryst.

Nick doesn’t want Phyllis tangled up with Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) who has a dubious track record including a stint as made-up person Aristotle Dumas.

That charade involved Cane luring half of GC to France where Cane gaslit them and two men ended up dead.

Cane is Shady?

Cane had Nick “detained” in Nice and nearly swindled Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) by proxy. In other words he has a long time to live down the stink of his so-called hospitality.

That’s why Nick isn’t happy when he sees Phyllis and Cane with their heads together at the GCAC.

Once everyone was back in GC, Phyllis and Cane were in the weeds together and Nick doesn’t want to see history repeat itself.

Phyllis’ Tangled Web

Once Cane leaves he interrogates Phyllis about her connection to Cane but is Nick overreacting?

We know that Cane will do anything to win back and keep Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) so maybe he’s dedicated to doing good?

Will Cane Lure Phyllis?

Y&R spoilers imply that Phyllis becomes defensive as Nick grills her. In response, Nick may tell her that he is simply being protective and wants her to stay out of trouble.

We can also divulge that during the week of September 28-October 2, Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) and Nikki square off over hunky Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). They also have the Jabot-Vibrante war to get worked up about.

Nick Shows Concern For Phyllis

What they don’t know is that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) are carrying on a torrid passion play behind the façade of the Jabot-Vibrante competition.

Once this tea gets out expect multiple peeps to be aghast at Victoria flinging with her daughter’s ex.

We have to say we didn’t see this coming and it will be interesting if the new writing squad puts the kibosh on the storyline many fans find revolting.
