Traci Abbott’s (Beth Maitland) visit proved to be the decisive factor in swaying Billy. She accomplished what no one, including Sally, had been able to do.

Billy has a special bond with Traci because, like him, she also horrifically lost a child. Her logical and emotionally angled pitch to him worked.

If the Abbott family has been entitled to own Chancellor, then that’s something all of John Abbott’s (Jerry Douglas) heirs needed to know long ago.

However, it’s possible that Jill had or has a very good reason to have kept mum until, hopefully, soon providing that answer.

Daniel Romalotti Wants His Mother To Stay

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) was so forlorn. She assumed that her connection with Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) was damaged beyond repair, but thankfully it wasn’t.

He quickly determined that his mother was considering leaving town with Matt Clark (Roger Howarth).

Daniel telling Phyllis that she was loved by many people, including him, and that he wanted her to stay and fight to reestablish her close connections was terrific.

It could be that Howarth will soon be departing the cast, as Matt’s story feels like it’s coming to an end.

Here’s hoping that doesn’t happen because he’s a great actor and his scene partner, Stafford, has served as a terrific, equal match.
