According to the Daily Beast, Melania was the butt of Jimmy Fallon’s joke this past week when he couldn’t help but mock her reason for not wanting to visit Ireland with her husband, President Donald Trump.
The President himself said, “My wife is here in spirit. She’s watching right now. She said, ‘Say hello,’ because she was very friendly with these two people. I said, ‘Well, why don’t you come with me?’ She said, ‘Well, it’s a seven-hour trip. Maybe I’m not that friendly.’”
Yet, Jimmy Fallon had a different explanation. He quipped, “Trump said Melania skipped the trip because it was a seven-hour flight, yeah. Asked where she went for the weekend, Trump said, ‘Australia.”
But then again, this isn’t the first feud that Melania has had with a late night talk show host.
Melania Trump’s Feuds With Late Night Talk Show Hosts
According to the latest reports, it’s being suggested that Jimmy Kimmel is soon going to be hitting early retirement, per Page Six.
That’s because the sight says that his late-night talk show is set to end in 2027 after being on the air for more than 24 years.
But here’s the thing: a lot of people can’t help but wonder if his ongoing feud with Melania Trump might have had something to do with it. It’s safe to say that Melania has had enough of all the jabs that she’s gotten from him.
And while Melania Trump often ignores the jokes that come at her expense, the latest one from Jimmy Kimmel has gone way too far. That’s because he called her an “expectant widow,” while suggesting that her husband Donald Trump is going to die sooner rather than later.
So far the White House has not made any comments about the matter just yet. Watch this space as we have a feeling there is so much more to come.
