Lily was very resistant to forgive the cad and with good reason. He tricked her and the world by becoming Aristotle Dumas, a pretend magnate who tried to take over the world.
It was shocking to discover the depths of his deceit and he ironically claimed he did it all for Lily. She wasn’t buying his manure.
But Cane persevered and slowly began to conquer Lily’s fears. He has also won back the love of their twins and this has figured heavily in Lily’s choice to trust her ex.
But soap couples don’t stay happy for too long and just as their reunion solidifies, autumn spoilers point to trouble on the horizon.
Cane Is Displeased
Red hot The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that virtuous Lily has been keeping a secret from Cane and when it comes out their future is in jeopardy.
Whatever it is that Lily has been keeping from Cane throws him for a loop when he least expected it.
What we know right now is that Lily’s past is not buried and something happens that paints her in a bad light.

Lily has had a full life at this point, and her adolescence was particularly colorful. Then again, the hammer blow could tie in to Chancellor just as easily as it could to her past.
Lily sometimes plays things close to the vest and Cane won’t appreciate it if he’s blindsided by a business revelation he didn’t see coming.
Will Lily Be Decimated?
Of course that would also be ironic given how he tricked the whole world into the deceit that was Dumas. That dumb farce led to two men’s deaths, could Lily’s secret be just as tragic?
