The Young and the Restless spoilers show that Logan Kirkland is dead. Something happened between him and his estranged wife, Marie Kirkland (Jade Harlow), and he hit his head.

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) came in to see the aftermath, and while she believed he would wake up any minute, Nick confirmed he was dead and told her to get out of here.

This cover-up is going to be incredibly tricky, because we don’t even know what happened for sure. Marie says it was self-defense, but then why is Nick trying to cover for her? And surely, someone will come looking for Logan.

Will It Be His Family?

There is still a lot of mystery around Logan, but surely he has friends and family that will notice when he doesn’t return to his home. A parent or maybe even another woman!

If Logan has already moved on from Marie, his new woman could come looking for him in Genoa City and start asking questions.

This is all causing much more of an issue than it would have been for Marie and Nick to just call the police had it been self-defense. It leaves the question out there: did Marie kill her estranged husband on purpose?

Why wouldn’t she want to go to the police with this? We think there’s definitely more than meets the eye here, and we’re just taking Marie at her word. Is that enough?

Marie Versus The New Woman

It creates quite an interesting storyline, however, if Logan’s new flame comes face to face with Marie. They could easily get into an altercation themselves.

We can easily see a weapon being involved, and rather than Marie taking the bullet for what happened, we know that Nick would easily step in front of it to play Marie’s hero.

Now we have Marie murdering her husband, his new woman coming to town and meaning to shoot Marie, but then Nick ends up in the hospital with a life-threatening wound.

This is all pure speculation, but that’s the fun part about soap operas. We get to think about the possible crazy storylines that could happen and who they could involve. Though, this one doesn’t seem far from the realm of possibility.
