Lawyer Michael recognizes an emergency when he hears one and races to help Nick. It seems that the fixer is needed after addict Marie Kirkland’s (Jade Harlow) violent faceoff with her husband, Logan Kirkland. Oy vey.
Marie has bad mouthed her husband to Nick and apparently the feeling was mutual. At rehab Marie pushed Logan away from her, he falls, and he looks like a goner.
So, instead of calling the cops, panicked Nick calls legal eagle Michael proving he is Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) son.
Nick wants no additional stress for Marie who is suicidal and a killer. Sure, Nick whatever you say.
Can she really focus on recovery in her shambolic state?
We think that Nick might go as far as to suggest that he take the fall for Logan’s death, but Michael could point out it was a case of self-defense after Logan attacked Marie resulting in unintended death.
Like the boss he is, we predict that Michael may say he can make the whole mess disappear. Then again, what are the chances that Logan ends up surviving his ignominy?
Y&R spoilers hint this is a fluid situation and Michael is in his element trying to protect Nick and Marie. Nick needs a win after all he’s been through and in the end, Nick hugs Michael and thanks him …
Meanwhile, lusty Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) asks former Vibrante owner Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) for the business patents she holds.
Audra wants all she can get and that includes more than mere money and fans will see her negotiate for something extra.
