Their hotel room basically looks like a closet and they have no view and the nearest restaurant is about two miles away.

That, and it also seems like they are downright miserable. Is this trip meant to break them up? That’s what viewers want to know. Whatever the case may be, Y&R fans just don’t understand why the writers of the soap would do that to this couple.

It goes without saying that The Young and the Restless fans had a lot to say about the matter on social media.

Some have even commented with, “It’s ridiculous. These are multimillionaires. They would absolutely have the Jabot travel office arrange everything.”

“And you know that the moment Jack went to the bathroom, Diane would be on the phone to them saying something like ‘If this isn’t fixed in 30 minutes you can start filling out your unemployment form.’”

Another critic of the soap wrote, “Making an excuse not to spend any budget. An incredibly wealthy couple would never stay in a place like that. Not even by mistake. They would have left for somewhere better immediately.”
