But she was convinced not to by the man whom she unexpectedly connected with.
Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor), like Steffy and various daytime characters, if we’re being comprehensive, has a history of cheating.
He most recently did so with Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) unbeloved wife at the time, Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer).
But devoted fans recall that Steffy had a one-off with, of all people, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).
Possibly, she and Carter will commiserate about what they learned from keeping those truths hidden and change their minds?
John Finn Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) has been eviscerated by his wife since he introduced Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) as his mother on their wedding day. Steffy told him in no uncertain terms all that Sheila did to that point.
Of course, that was before Sheila got to the point where she felt Steffy had to be eliminated.
So, on a dark and not stormy night, Sheila pulled a gun behind Il Giardino and intended to pump lead into her daughter-in-law’s body.
But Finn read the text his wife sent and raced to the restaurant that Sheila would later co-manage with her husband, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan). Novlan’s character arrived and instantly reacted, which almost cost him his life.
Sheila’s first bullet went into her son. Then she reloaded and, despite Steffy’s plea, pulled the trigger, putting that second piece of metal into her.
Just as Finn took the bullet, so too is he taking the blame for what happened in Monaco.
But that many-times-repeated beach scene blowout will be overridden whenever he learns what happened after Steffy returned home in a huff.
Like Finn, Daphne Walton (Murielle Hilaire) doesn’t know the whole story. She has apologized profusely to her spouse, telling Carter that she lost her head after learning about the premature menopause diagnosis.
Carter was wrecked when Daphne removed her wedding ring in front of him. Saying that she needed to be with her family in France, Carter was convinced that his marriage was over.
Daphne believes she is the only woman in Carter’s life. That was true before he and Steffy cavorted in the executive suite.
Daytime devotees of this soap opera know that Steffy had a pregnancy test taken after she and Bill impulsively spent time together in the Forrester mansion’s guest house.
That happened during her last marriage to Bill’s son, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
It’s easy to assume that Steffy might need a pregnancy test again. Liam found the printed test results in his then-wife’s purse while they were in the backyard of their cliff house, where she now lives with Finn.
Steffy’s tears flowed, and Liam was outraged. He later got into a physical confrontation with Bill, who wasn’t the expectant father.
Two father options will exist if she is pregnant this time. Her life, Finn’s, Carter’s, and Daphne’s will never be the same if that assumed need for a pregnancy test is learned before it’s administered, which would be different than the last storyline of this type that involved Wood’s character.
