The Young And The Restless Spoilers Wednesday, August 26: Diane’s Warning, Jack Abandons Lily, Victor Promises Matt’s Removal

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, August 26 reveal that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) tells his mom Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) something that leads to a warning.

It seems that vivacious Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) wants to resurrect Vibrante, Audra Charles’ (Zuleyka Silver) previous company.

Victoria’s Wild Idea

Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) thinks this could be a secret revenge ploy but Kyle squashes the idea by saying that Victoria is the one who had the brilliant idea.

Nonetheless, Diane has cause for concern. When Kyle tells Diane and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) about Victoria’s scheme, Diane may worry that Kyle could tick off Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

Diane may even suggest that Kyle not provoke Victor or hurt Victoria because Claire would be upset.

Jack Meets Lily

Elsewhere, Jack meets up with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). Lily offered to pay off the past Abbott loan and bring an end to the Chancellor dramarama.

Jack is stuck between a rock and a hard place because he has to chose between Lily and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Jack tells Lily he doesn’t want to be involved and she must negotiate with Billy herself.

As a result, Lily wants advice from Jack, likely on strategies to contain Billy.

Nick in Rehab

Elsewhere, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) goes to visit his son Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) in rehab. Nick previously checked himself out early and had a spiral. Now that he’s back in the facility he wants to reassure his family.

Nick has had a serious talk with his mom Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), and now it’s time to talk things over with his dad. How will Victor respond after seeing his son’s struggle?

What Happens Next in GC?

For his part Nick is brutally honest about his addiction and the effect it’s had on everyone’s lives. Victor vows to help Nick and makes a vague statement about an idea he has to finally neutralize Matt Clark (Roger Howarth).

Scorching hot The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Matt’s about to encounter a bombshell thanks to Victor.
