The Young And The Restless Spoilers Friday, August 21: Billy’s Downfall Begins, Lily’s Desperate Plea & Sharon Demands Answers

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, August 21 reveal that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) is on a search, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) ploughs on and looks for help, while Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) better watch his backstabbing back!

Lily sees the wisdom in teaming with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman); truth be told she and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will need Jack’s influence to stop Billy from grabbing, and possibly ruining, Chancellor.

Billy Boy Chaos

Tasty spoilers say Lily pleads with Jack on Friday, requesting his much-needed help.

Jack wanted to be Switzerland in this situation but Lily thinks they can accomplish mutual goals and still respect John Abbott’s (Jerry Douglas) memory.

Lily’s Plea Deal

Lily could argue that stopping Billy is what’s best for the Abbotts and John’s legacy. In this regard it’s crucial to fight for John’s reputation and kick Billy to the curb.
Meanwhile, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) plans to ruin Billy Boy once and for all!

Victor debuts a strategy that makes it appear that Billy’s claims are wrong, and it could tie in with Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) Newman Media plans. At the same time Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) grills Billy for info.

Elsewhere Sharon worries about Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and his rehab stint.

Nick is back to his former facility, the one he checked himself out of. That ended in disaster, with him using again and meeting a motel girl he slept with. Marie Kirkland (Jade Harlow) is a junkie and OD’d in Nick’s room.

Luckily he called Sharon to take him back to rehab but she is on the case and won’t like Marie’s presence—Nick can have filet mignon, why is he choosing ground round?

What Happens Next in GC?

Sharon tries to get info from the clinic and hopes for good news. However, Sharon could will be concerned about Nick’s new buddy who may not have his best interests at heart. Nick needs uplifting right now not a hand dragging him back into darkness.
