The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Matt Stuns Sharon With Out of the Blue Request

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) travels to Crimson Lights where he wants to have a heart to heart with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). Matt has a lot of nerve cornering Sharon in her own coffee house but then again he’s never been subtle.

Matt has been on the apology tour and the only place he hasn’t been besides Crimson is Oprah’s couch.

Convict Matt wants a life do-over despite his horrible past behavior and to this end he seeks out Sharon.

Even if Matt is sincere, he could have phoned or texted Sharon rather than just show up unannounced.

Y&R Spoilers Point to Apology

Be that as it may, he wants to apologize for his past behavior and ask if she can forgive him. Sharon had told Matt he should just leave GC but that was before Phyllis Summers (Michelle

Stafford) tempted him with her bod and a new job. What more does he need?

Should Sharon Forgive?

In fact, Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) and Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) returned to Los Angeles in part because of Matt’s presence so in a way it’s Matt’s fault that Sharon’s family left.

It’s also because of Matt that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is an addict.
There is zero reason for Sharon to hear Matt out given the wretched things he did to her in the past.

What Happens Next on Y&R?

The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Sharon may tell Matt that what he’s done is unforgivable.

What we do know is that in the August 19 episode Matt acknowledges his past evil and begs for forgiveness. Will it be enough for Sharon?

Sharon must endure Matt’s groveling and this is a difficult proposition given that she’s had no warning.

Sharon doesn’t seem ready to pardon Matt for how terrible he’s been – and that may not change just because Matt grovels.
