Not Goodbye, But See You Soon?
Days of Our Lives spoilers note that comedian and Last Week Tonight host John Oliver popped into Salem during the week of August 10-14, playing Devlin St. John, the chief water inspector for the little town.
He had learned all about the water contamination and EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) role in it; however, EJ, along with Rita Lesley (Maggie Carney), found a way to neutralize the man so he wouldn’t be a problem.
Rita and Devlin had a flirty interaction, so rather than kill the man to keep him quiet, she chronologically had him frozen. Does this mean fans will someday see Devlin in storylines again? Here’s hoping! Oliver was wildly entertaining this week!
Some Fan Favorites Return
Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of August 17 note some fan favs will return as Trey DiMera, played by Joseph Ihlenfeld and Jordan Perdue, will be seen.
In addition, his biological dad, Aaron Greene, will get more time on the canvas (and bond with Trey) as Louis Tomeo will be back.
In addition, fans will see JJ Deveraux, as Casey Moss will get more airtime as well. Lastly, while Peter Porte does play a villain, fans just love to hate him as Dimitri von Leuschner, and he’ll also be in storylines as he keeps Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) hostage in Alamainia.
More Casting News
Speaking of Leo, Days fans can expect to see Michael Ocampo, who plays Javi Hernandez’s (Jacob Martinez) new boyfriend, Gus. In fact, Gus will confront Javi regarding his ‘feelings’ for Leo.
Lastly, Miles Anderson will return as Foster. It sounds like Foster and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will go out on a date and share a first kiss. Yikes!
