Days Of Our Lives Comings & Goings August 10-14: John Oliver’s Guest Spot, Fan Fav + More

Welcome To Salem, John Oliver!
Days of Our Lives spoilers note that Last Week Tonight host John Oliver is heading to Salem this week. While it’s unclear who he’ll be playing, fans do know that he’ll be sharing scenes with Paulina Price (Jackée Harry).
During the end of the Days preview for the week of August 10, Oliver pops his head into Paulina’s office, asking to speak to the mayor, and she responds, “That’s me!”
The comedian is having quite the wild time in the land of soaps this summer, and this appearance on Days comes shortly after a guest stint on General Hospital.
Oliver entered the land of Port Charles in early July, playing the role of WSB head “Z”. It’ll be interesting to see who he plays on Days of Our Lives, and how he’ll help move storylines along.
Additional Casting Notes
Rounding out casting notes for this week, fans will see Aaron Greene during the Wednesday, August 12 show, as Louis Tomeo gets more screen time. He and Arianna “Ari” Horton (Vico Escorcia) will organize something special for Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) and Tate Black (Leo Howard).
In addition, fans will see more of Rita Lesley, played by Maggie Carney. Rita will help her boss, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), take some drastic actions during the Friday, August 14 show. As per the Days weekly promo video, Rita will also interact with Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) as the two have a heated confrontation.
In addition, fans will see more of Rachel Black, played by Lorelei Olivia Mote. During the August 12 episode, Rachel will open up to her dad, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), about her mom, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk).
