Today in GC Adam and Victoria talk about Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and his run from rehab.
Yesterday was a grand family celebration with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) getting married at the ranch. Their family and friends were there and now they are off to Venice.
With the rents gone, it’s left to Victoria and Adam to support Nick after he checked himself out of rehab.
Nikki asked if he got permission to leave and clearly he didn’t tell her the truth. Adam and Victoria realize that Nick is not well and will do what it takes to help him.
Nick was struggling in rehab and since he didn’t want to be there it may be that he refuses to go back.
If Nick is on his own in GC he will have to deal with temptation and a drug dealer who has his number.
Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) has left GC so that’s one more supportive shoulder Nick won’t have plus he’s worried about Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).
The fact that Adam and Victoria are willing to join forces to help Nick underscores the severity of the situation.
They may insist he returns to rehab or closely monitor him.
Meanwhile, Mariah finally meets Matt. She knows every despicable thing he’s done and is on guard.
Mariah and Matt have bad behavior in common. She’s freshly sprung from the psych ward after a kidnapping and she may be willing to see beyond his flaws.
Matt says he’s a new man but that remains to be seen.
Elsewhere Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) has a good effect on Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Does she says something that reveals a Chancellor-related clue? Definitely maybe!
