Days Of Our Lives Comings & Goings Aug 3-7: Major Returns, Villainous Comeback + More

Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest some major moments in Salem during the week of August 3-7! Plus, there is a flurry of casting activity to talk about, too! Find out who’s coming and who’s going over the next five “days” (and beyond) by reading below.

Four Major Returns

Days of Our Lives fans were treated to a bombshell of an announcement earlier this week, in the best possible way! TV Insider reported that Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady), Christie Clark (Carrie Brady Reed), Chandler Massey (Will Horton), and Bryan Dattilo (Lucas Horton) had filmed scenes together last week for a major “reunion” return.

The foursome all have scenes together, and their comeback airs in June 2027. During a TV Insider interview, Sweeney had this to say about their returns, “It was so good to be with everyone together again.”

She added, “I mean, 60 years — it’s been on the air 61 now —that’s incredible. That hourglass, that McDonald Carey [Tom Horton] opening line … we’re a part of that history.”

Villainous Return!

In addition, Dimitri von Leuschner is expected to be seen on canvas during the week of August 3, as Peter Porte reprises the role. During the week of July 27-31, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) believed that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) was kidnapped by her ex, so he headed to Alamainia during the Friday, July 31 show. Leo will arrive there during the week of August 3 and realize his suspicions were correct. Still, will Dimitri attempt to keep both Leo and Gwen hostage in the aftermath?

More Casting Notes

Days fans can expect to see Maggie Carney, as Rita Lesley shares scenes with her boss, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). EJ will be shocked beyond belief when he realizes the storage container he thought had his sister, Kristen DiMera, in it will actually have Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford) – and Rita will be by his side during the entire thing!
