Let’s just say that at this point, she’s going to do what she wants to do, and she certainly doesn’t care what anyone has to think about it, either.
Clearly, we are talking about Melania Trump as there’s heavy speculation suggesting that she’s refusing to play this game anymore. And unfortunately, her husband, President Donald Trump, has been left absolutely outraged over her decision.
That’s because according to the Washington Post, Melania was absent from Lindsey Graham’s funeral. And of course, her decision not to be there left some people no choice but to raise their eyebrows over her behavior.
If that weren’t enough, Mealnia Trump was also a no-show at the White House Correspondents Dinner. This was actually the second dinner as the first one, which was held back in April, ended early after gunshots rang in the room, leaving everyone in a state of panic.
And while an attempted assassination on her husband would definitely give any woman a reason to skip every public event and stay home instead, a lot of people believe that as the First Lady of the United States, Melania Trump does have a certain obligation to show up, even if she doesn’t want to.
But then again, if there’s anything that we’ve learned about how Melania Trump operates, it’s that she’s not going to be forced to do something that she clearly doesn’t want to do, and that includes going to funerals or even dinners, where her safety might be jeopardized.
Sure, Donald Trump has every reason to be angry but at the same time, Melania is not going to be forced into a situation that she doesn’t want to be in. And it’s not like she hasn’t been to state funerals in the past, right? Things are clearly just a little bit different now.
So far Melania Trump herself has not made any comments about the matter, although we will definitely update you with all of the latest details the moment they come in. Watch this space as we have a feeling there is so much more to come.
