General Hospital spoilers say that he’s back, but has he really changed much at all? That’s what a lot of fans can’t help but wonder when it comes to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
Has Jason Changed At All?
As many of our readers are already aware of, Jason has long been Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) right hand man and also someone who has dedicated his life to protecting Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and her children.
In other words, he didn’t choose the mobster life, but the mobster life chose him.
And while everyone is used to seeing Jason in that role for many long years, some were hoping to see a change in him now that he’s returned after a short break to this fictional town of Port Charles. Because that’s what character development is all about, right?
Needless to say, many GH fans had a lot to say about where this storyline is headed on social media.
Some even commented with, “I am glad he’s back but I’m also ready for a change. I mean Sonny is kind of a has-been at this point. Is he still a mobster? I mean we really don’t see much of that at all. Remember the mob meetings with the five families? When was the last one?”
What’s Next For Jason Morgan?
Another critic wrote, “I am ok with a total change in Jason and I suspect the actor might like that challenge. But I was still really hoping for Jason/Britt. They had such good chemistry.”
“I guess I need to let that go, but it seems to have fizzled. He had chemistry with Sasha too. I like Jason as a romantic partner in general but if the actor is unwilling, that’s disappointing.”
And then there was this comment as well: “Only they pair him with Elizabeth. A changed Jason Morgan belongs with Elizabeth once and for all.”
Then again, GH fans will simply have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next. We have a feeling there is so much more to come.

I do think Jason has changed in that he wants to be a better father to Danny but at the same time he may not want to abandon Sonny or Carly.So maybe unlike the past he might put limits on what he might do for Sonny and Carly in that he’ll still be there for them but maybe not at the expense of his relationship with his son,
