Let’s just say that this isn’t the reception that he was hoping for. General Hospital spoilers say that Steve Burton is about to make a huge comeback on the small screen again as his character, Jason Morgan, but there seems to be one problem.
General Hospital Star Steve Burton’s Fans Are Turning Against Him
That’s because no one really cares anymore.
Just to recall, Steve left the soap earlier this year to focus on his personal life. As many fans can recall, Steve announced earlier this year that he was pulling back from his duties at General Hospital to spend more time with his wife, Michelle Lundstrom, and their family at home.
And while Steve has taken breaks in the past and has always returned to Port Charles with a lot of fanfare, that doesn’t seem to be the case right now.
There are new photos of Steve’s character, Jason Morgan, looking like a completely different person on the set of General Hospital. And while in the past that would have sparked a lot of speculation about upcoming storylines, this time around it seems like no one truly cares.
In fact, some General Hospital fans have even said on social media that Port Charles seems to be a more interesting place without Jason Morgan.
Many have even commented with, “Honestly I like the show better without him. No offense but the character has become so one note. I hope this revitalizes Jason in some way.”
What’s Next For Jason Morgan?
And then there was this comment as well: “Same. I also still have a bad taste in my mouth from when he exited a while ago, made a big production about family time and priorities, then a week later was on another network.”
Now, whether or not Jason Morgan is going to manage to make the big comeback that everyone is hoping to see from him, remains to be seen.
It goes without saying that General Hospital fans will simply have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next.
