The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Phyllis’ Shocking Violence Sparks Genoa City’s Hottest New Romance?

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Phyllis' Shocking Violence Sparks Genoa City's Hottest New Romance? The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) knocked Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) out cold.

But he was smitten with her at first soapy blush which means that her knockout blow only served to increase Phyllis’ draw.

Arguably two of daytime’s greatest actors are being paired through their characters in Genoa City, Wisconsin.

Viewers know that Phyllis was initially using Matt as trade bait but that deal with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) failed.

Y&R’s writing staff offered that taste of chemistry as a preview. Now, we are in the ask-her-out phase. Phyllis is inclined to explore this unusual option because of their shared outsider status.

The Return and Redemption Of Matt Clark?

Sure, it’s fair to question the believability of this particular storyline. Not just parts of it, all of it.

Let’s begin with his reappearance in Los Angeles, California. That happened because he wanted to draw the Newman family out after purposely targeting Noah Newman (Lucas Adams), who he positioned with Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun). Yes, Matt used his wife.

We can continue with Matt’s near-killing of multiple Newman family members and Victor’s response.

Mr. Ruthless didn’t disappear him. No, instead he decided to rehabilitate him. How outrageous, yet this is Victor and his creative morality is legendary.

Victor Newman Is The True Villain

Victor is currently trying to restore his wife’s failing vision. But he was forced to focus on Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) only after he wrested control of his main love, Newman Enterprises, from Phyllis.

Matt is the man Victor has subjugated into servitude. Howarth’s character is guilt-ridden and desperate for redemption, unless this is what Victor speculated it might be.

Viewers recall that Victor told Matt he’s either actually seeking redemption or is the greatest actor he’s ever known. That dialogue was a partial wink to Howarth’s power within this genre, as he’s killing it in every single scene.

Honestly, who has been better than Howarth since Colleen Zenk’s (Jordan Howard) great performance?

Will Phyllis Summers Poison The Well?

Phyllis has a way of creating chaos. She’s influential, especially when it comes to the men in her life.

Three names, among others, can be mentioned, Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian), Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). They were caught in her web and still remain tied to this day.

Matt was telling the truth about his amnesia and, in moments of solitude, has proven that he is truly seeking redemption.

But his fascination with Phyllis feels like the well well be poisoned, drip by drip, in daytime.
