The Young and the Restless Spoilers Tuesday, June 23: Nate Sworn to Secrecy, Victor Shut Out, Diane Charms

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, June 23 show that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is being treated like a mushroom by his wife–kept in the dark and fed ish, as Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) gets desperate.

Meanwhile, Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) tries to manipulate Dr. Laurence Markham (Jere Burns) even as Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) follows him after he visits the Abbott residence.

It’s a Chaotic Day in GC

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) told Kyle to find out where Dr. Markham is staying and if Diane is there. Afterward, Jack and Kyle are confident that Dr. Markham is keeping Diane hidden.

They decide to lure Markham off the property so they can snatch the poor hostage.

Diane’s Freedom

In the meantime, Diane must depend on her wits and charm to make the doctor cave and make a mistake.

However, she could overdo it and make Markham sus about her actions. Y&R fans, what do you think of this far-fetched, overwrought plot?

Victor’s Concern

Elsewhere, Victor is worried about what’s going on with Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) situation.

In the June 22 episode, Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) was told about Nikki’s brain mass problem and later she had lunch with Victor.

He requested that she ask Nikki to join them.

Nikki’s Brain Mass

However, Nikki had no intention of telling Victor what’s going on, that a brain mass is pressing on her optic nerve.
She was told that the condition could leave her blind and an operation to cure her could also leave her blind; Great odds there.

Thus, Nikki shuts Victor out given his horrid treatment of her.

Victoria’s Desperation

All of this leaves Victoria desperate about Nikki’s condition.

She talks to former surgeon Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and hopes he gives her a better second opinion.

We predict that Nate says that Nikki’s original doctor told her the truth and explains that the situation is dire.

What Nikki’s up Against

He may gently explain that a brain mass is capable of taking away Nikki’s vision but if she undergoes surgery that procedure could result in blindness as well.
