Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) has endured numerous humiliations at the hands of her oldest sister. Recently, Brooke Logan Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) actual hand was used to smack Katie, hard, across her face.

That rebuke didn’t deter the youngest of the Logan sisters. It emboldened her and led to Brooke’s youngest daughter, Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle), being lured to the dark side of the fashion world.

Bill Spencer Is Now And Forever Dollar Bill

Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) reformed himself in recent years. He did that in an attempt to win back the love of the woman he calls his Katie.

However, an interesting twist happened after Katie concluded that Bill had learned hard life lessons and was a changed man. She presented his sword necklace to him, which was the symbol of his Dollar Bill days.

Katie told Bill that she didn’t want him to discard that element of his personality but to embrace it. She added that an element of her persona also veers toward the Dollar as well, all of which telegraphed what’s happening with Logan now.

Brooke Logan Forrester Is Used To Being On Top

Being the oldest sibling isn’t easy, as many viewers surely know. That status comes with responsibility, and in the case of the Logan family, meant that Brooke became her younger sister’s maternal figure.

Brooke’s life wasn’t filled with pristine choices or results. She infamously had an affair with Bill while he was married to Katie, which played into her alcohol use and mental health breakdown.

But many years have passed, and Katie and Brooke have become as close as they could. But a part of Katie’s mind never took her eye off Lang’s character. Brooke broke the heart their brother, Storm Logan (William deVry), donated to Katie when he surrendered his life.

Hope Logan Spencer Seeks Independence

Hope’s pursuit of independence is misinterpreted by her mother. Brooke also misread Katie’s desires when she accepted Bill’s magnificent wedding gift and founded Logan.

Both women are trying to tell Brooke that they have their own minds and don’t need Brooke to guide them in every part of their lives. In her heart, Brooke believes she is protecting Katie and Hope.

Brooke does want the best for them, but doesn’t know how to let Katie become more than her little sister or Hope grow beyond being her little girl. The fierceness viewers are witnessing is the other side of love and has teed up what is already a classic storyline.

Here’s hoping that Brooke realizes what’s best for her sister and daughter doesn’t have to conflict with family love.
