The Young And The Restless Spoilers Thursday, June 18: Phyllis’ Power Play, Matt’s Breaking Point & Victoria Draws The Line

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, June 18 reveal that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is arrogant, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has more orders for Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is increasingly worried about Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) health.

Victoria Panics About Nikki

Victoria realizes that Nikki is not getting better and fears that she is in over her head. She pushes her mom to see a doctor even as Nikki resists.
Still, it’s clear that her symptoms are getting worse.

If Nikki won’t see a real doctor, will she at least talk to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic)?

This plot point is doing double lifting because not only does Nikki need to see a doctor, Nate may be considering re-entering the medical field.

Nikki Needs Advice

Meanwhile, despite Matt’s unsavory past, he isn’t certain he can execute Victor’s scheme regarding Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn).

Matt has been told to get closer to the train magnate and spy on him.

The end goal is Victor getting revenge on his enemy by any means necessary.

But Matt doesn’t like the shady aspect of this plot even though it’s keeping him out of prison.

Victor is Controlling Matt

Victor doesn’t have time for Matt’s scruples, however.

This is Victor’s best offer to keep Matt a free man and make up for all the harm he has done to the Newmans.

On Thursday’s Y&R episode, look for Victor to force Matt to do what he says—you got that?

Victor & Matt Team Against Cane

Elsewhere, Cane and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) get into it.
She rubs his face in the fact that she is now running his old company, Arabesque.

Never mind that Cane’s former company is in tatters, Phyllis takes the opportunity to gloat.

For his part, Cane counters that Phyllis has yet to do anything to brag about and he may remind her that Victor has a record of double-crossing people.

Scintillating The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Phyllis is sure of herself but that doesn’t mean that Victor isn’t setting her up to fail!
