General Hospital Katelyn MacMullen Hints Plot Twist As Willow Desperately Tries To Keep Drew Quiet

General Hospital spoilers note that the clock is ticking in Willow Cain’s world.

With only one month’s worth of paralytic medication left to keep Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) in a ‘locked in’ state, she needs to gather some sort of information to blackmail him with to keep him quiet about all she’s done.

The character’s portrayer, Katelyn MacMullen, recently spoke with Soap Opera Digest (SOD) and teased a plot twist on the horizon where this storyline is concerned.

The Jack Brennan Factor

General Hospital spoilers remind fans that Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) has promised Willow he has evidence that can bring Drew down; he just needs to get better enough to get it out from his safe in his WSB office.

MacMullen tells SOD that Willow is on a race against the clock, and “There are so many factors working against her.”

The actress adds, the biggest hurdle is that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is a fugitive.

MacMullen statins, “He’s been supplying her with the paralytic, and now that she’s lost her source, she’s running out of it.”

As both fans and Willow know, Drew can gain mobility as soon as he misses a dose, so she needs this evidence from Brennan, ASAP.

It also doesn’t help that Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) will meet with Willow during the Wednesday, June 17 episode, to suggest communication tools for Drew.

Plot Twist Coming

With that said, is Brennan telling the truth, or bluffing?

After all, it wouldn’t be outrageous to believe that he’s telling Willow what she wants to hear to get out of his own predicament.

MacMullen notes that Willow may have the idea of Brennan lying, in the back of her mind; however, she really doesn’t have a choice at this point.

She needs to trust in Brennan’s word so she can get out of this mess and move on.

Still, the actress does tease a plot twist on the horizon when she tells SOD, “Let’s just say the writers aren’t out of surprises. There’s more fun stuff coming up!”
