The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, June 15 point to Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) being taken by surprise as Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) attempts to get closer to his ex, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).

Cane’s made no bones about wanting to reunite with the mother of his kids, and after a fun date night at The Shadow Room he’s feeling emboldened.

Furthermore, she’s tapped him to head up Chancellor and that brings about more opportunities to spend time together.

Spoilers hint that Lily and Cane mix business with pleasure as they strategize at Crimson Lights.

These two are looking forward to working together and the good they can accomplish.

At one point Cane asks Lily to come closer because he has something he needs to tell her.

Out of the blue he kisses her and that delights Lily.

Despite Cane’s shenanigans, Lily thinks his ruse was cute and she is falling more for him with each passing day.

Cane is heartened by her reaction and looks forward to stoking the flames of desire.

Where is Diane?

Elsewhere, MIA Diane is seen staggering through a house where she’s been held. As she looks for signs of life, she encounters a man named Dr. Laurence Markham (Jere Burns).

According to TV insider he is a mysterious doctor and debuts on Monday, June 15.
They report that Laurence has a multi-episode arc on the horizon.

Who is Laurence?

At this point we’ve got to ask, is Laurence connected to shady Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk)? Or is this an entirely new mess Diane is in?

Fans are speculating like mad about Laurence’s role in Diane’s situation but for now we will have to wait and see how this curious plot plays out.

What is Going on With Diane?

By all appearances, Diane has been taken hostage and drugged, and she is understandably in a foul mood. Now that the shoe is on the other foot, will she summon an ounce of sympathy for her poor husband?

Speaking of mistreated Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), he has plenty of whines of his own when he puts Patty on blast with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) next to him.
