If there’s anything that we’ve learned about Donald Trump over the years, it’s that when he says he’s going to do something, you better believe that he’s going to do it. Well, unless his wife Melania Trump steps in, right?
There’s strong speculation suggesting that Melania is doing everything in her power to make sure that her husband doesn’t show up at Madison Square Garden for the NBA finals to cheer on the New York Knicks.
That’s because according to Entertainment Weekly, a lot of fans have already made it clear that the President of the United States is not welcome and if he does appear, they are going to make sure that the boos are so loud that neighbors in New Jersey are going to be able to hear it.
For Melania Trump, this is beyond embarrassing. Yet, her husband Donald doesn’t see it this same way.
Even though the economy is nowhere near what it was a few years ago, the President does believe that he’s more popular than ever before and that’s why he keeps showing up to these sporting events.
Clearly, Melania doesn’t want to go with him but at the same time, she also doesn’t want to deal with all of the negative press and Donald’s possible bad mood when he comes home, should ge booed out of the stadium. That’s the last thing she wants to deal with right now.
Then again, nothing is going to stop Donald Trump from doing what he wants to do. After all, he does love the spotlight. Sure, the entire stadium might be jeering him, but there’s a good chance that he will think they are cheering in his head. It’s not like the president has ever ran away from a crowd before, right?
