The Young And The Restless Spoilers Monday, June 8: Cane & Lily Taunt Fate, Matt Ordered to Take Down (SPOILER)?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, June 8 hint that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) wants to join forces with Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) but her ex could have concerns.

Prior to this, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) told Lily that she can have Chancellor after she pretended to be kidnapped in order to hoodwink Cane.

On Friday’s episode fans saw Lily ask Cane if he wants to run it for her and we can’t help but see this as a step down in the world for the mighty Aristotle Dumas who has trains on every continent.

Cane Has Trains

We predict that Cane gives Lily an answer on Monday, but will he tell her “no,” “maybe,” or “yes?”

For starters her loved ones still hate Cane, despite Lily’s forgiveness of the cad and killer-by-proxy.

We expect him to point this out, noting Devon Winters’ (Bryton James) animosity and Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) lust to run Chancellor himself.

Lily Has a Big Ask of Cane

Cane may also remind her that Victor won’t like him being in charge of Chancellor, either.

After all, if Victor wiped out Arabesque, would he do the same to Chancellor to teach Cane a lesson?

Then again, Victor Chancellor is Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) legacy, so Lily may be confident that Victor will not destroy it.

Will Cane Work for Lily?

In the end, we think that Cane won’t turn Lily down because all he wants in life is to please her.

Spicy spoilers also indicate that Cane and Lily take a stand against Billy soon, and in all likelihood it has to do with Chancellor.

Matt Clark Does Victor’s Bidding

While Victor may allow Cane to run Chancellor, that doesn’t mean that he won’t target him in another way.

Victor lets evil amnesiac Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) live, and you better believe he wants something in return for his largesse—you got that?

What Happens Next in GC?

Spoilers point to Victor ordering Matt around like a waterboy, and we suspect he uses him to target Cane.

Silly Lily may be provoking fate by naming Cane to run Chancellor but she is just as stubborn as Devon.

If Cane says “yes” to Lily’s offer, you can bet there will be chaos as these two flaunt their power!
