The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, May 27, reveal that Devon Winters (Bryton James) has a confession for his wife Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway), and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has horrifying news for the Newmans.

In Tuesday’s Y&R epi, fans witnessed brazen Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) convince Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) to head over to Summers Conglomerate.

She’s setting up an ambush, and the plan is for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to capture the bad egg.

Victor Wins

Then on Wednesday, it appears that Victor’s crack security team commandeer Matt over to the Newman ranch.

But wait, there’s more! An unexpected crisis hits when Nick collapses because of his fentanyl addiction.

Victor, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) and Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) panic at the sight of the heroic man passing out in front of them.

Phyllis Needs Control

Elsewhere, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is feeling upbeat and hopeful. That’s because her former husband, Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn), is going out of his way to prove his worth and love for her.

Silly Lily, do you really think that Cane can change?! Nonetheless, it appears that these two are headed for a romantic reunion.

Abby and Devon’s Convo

Meanwhile, we suspect that Devon tells Abby about his visit with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes). He delivered a card to her at the psych facility she’s in after she kidnapped his son, Dominic Winters (Ethan Ray Clark).

Devon is livid over what she did but he is struggling to forgive Mariah and accept her apology. While he can’t do these things yet, he is trying and that should mean the world to Abby.

Mariah also told Devon to forgive himself for thinking that he is to blame for the kidnapping. Will Abby tell Devon that Mariah is correct and not to blame himself?

Abby’s happy that he is finally addressing the whole mess and willing to talk instead of simmering under his lid.
As a result, Abby makes a promise to Devon, perhaps that they will slay the dragon together.
