That’s because a lot of people can’t help but realize that Carly does not have security at home or the protection that she needs, seeing how she is the ex spouse of one of the biggest mob bosses this fictional town of Port Charles has ever seen, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
It seems like anyone can just come in and outside of her home, which is putting her in direct danger. You’d think that someone would be protecting her from the mob or her husband’s enemies, but that simply hasn’t been the case.
It goes without saying that the internet had a lot to say about the matter on social media.
Some even commented with, “Doesn’t she have a gate at her driveway that needs a code or a box to announce someone? The woman doesn’t even have a ring on her front door, much less her back porch.”
Another critic of the show wrote, “It’s like that everywhere, including Laura, Nina , Willow and Alexi’s offices as well as Windermere and Sonny’s house.
I guess if anyone didn’t just walk in any door at any time, it wouldn’t be a soap. The lack of reality is frustrating though.”
And then there was this comment as well: “The Qs are worse because people have been attacked and killed on their property. The official story still is that an unknown assailant gunned down an FBI agent on their patio.”
“No one has been convicted of that crime and they don’t seem to have increased security since then. The docks are safer.”
Now, whether or not the writers pick up on this detail and give Carly the security guard that she deserves in her life, remains to be seen. Watch this space as we have a feeling there is so much more to come.

Funny part about the whole lack of security at Carly's home is that it is the same residence she lived in with Sonny and when he was there it had security. Not sure of the security situation at the other residences mentioned, but definitely sure there was security at Carly's home when Sonny lived there.
