The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) may have an unexpected gift waiting for Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) when she gets back from New York. Cane would love the chance to move this romantic reunion along, so he may offer up something special to accomplish that.

In Y&R’s May 21 episode, Lily called Cane with good news since Malcolm Winters’ (Shemar Moore) procedure went well. Malcolm’s doctors are optimistic about his recovery, so Cane got some words of gratitude for his part in all this.

Cane also asked Lily how long she was going to be in New York, so Lily mentioned that she initially planned on staying until Malcolm was released. When Cane learned that could be anywhere from two weeks to a month, he was obviously disappointed.

However, Lily playfully scolded Cane for not letting her finish and admitted Malcolm insisted she needed to head on back. Cane was pleased and started pushing for a specific return date, so Lily grew suspicious of what he was up to.

Lily seemed intrigued over whatever Cane has in store since she decided she’d better get moving! Cane and Lily’s relationship has progressed to the point where they’re flirting again, so that’s exactly what fans of this couple have been hoping for.

Of course, Lily gave Cane a kiss before taking this New York trip, so that gives viewers a pretty good idea of what’s in her heart. Now that Lily sees the real Cane again when she looks at him and not Aristotle Dumas, they’re slowly inching toward a romantic reunion.
